10th December: Introduction to Campaigning Workshop, East of England

Do you want to make your voice heard by people in power?
Do you want to influence decisions made by the council, UK government, the health service or other bodies that affect your community?
Have you started to campaign for change and want advice on how to get to the next level?
If so, the SMK Introduction to Campaigning workshop is for you.
The day will provide:
-Insight into the successful features of a campaign.
-Sessions on the key steps in planning a campaign.
-An opportunity to consult experts such as experienced campaigners, MPs and journalists on how to put your ideas into practice and what tactics have the most impact.
-A chance to meet other campaigners working to make change in your area.
This introductory level campaign workshop is for individuals and voluntary organisations and will be held on Friday 10th December at The Dragon Hall, 115 - 123 King Street, Norwich, Norfolk, NR1 1QE from 9.30 am – 4.30 pm.

Stop Norwich Urbanisation Chairman, Stephen Heard has been asked to run one of the workshops at this event following his success at the recent SMK Campaign Awards where he was a runner up in the Local Campaigner Award section.
