Interesting idea in todays's EDP proposed by East Anglia Food Link (EAFL) suggesting that Norwich could feed itself entirely from crops grown within six miles of the city centre . Now there's a though - keep on ploughing we need you!
I remember the days when your back garden was large enough to produce your own food to eat. Modern houses only have enough garden for a small patio and chairs. Anyone been to visit the estate at teh Old Plumstead Hospital ? Maybe if the Eco houses had larger back gardens, the people who lived in them would be able to grow their own food ?
