The BBC asked people to comment on the proposals for eco-towns at the four locations currently under consideration. It appears that, although there is some support, others are as concerned as we are that there has been little notice taken of the views of the local communities. Read the story here - it is encouraging that others feels as we do but scandalous to think that councils are willing to override local opposition to these sites for their own political ends.
Feedback from the first exhibitions held by the developers of the proposed Rackheath development is available here and makes interesting reading. Even at that stage there was considerable opposition.
