How very dissappointing that the EDP saw fit not to publish the meeting with Keith Simpson,I would have thought they would have considered the matter of great public interest and concern and it should have been given local publicity by them. No doubt they have their reasons for not doing so,may be they would like to tell us.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2973149502277234867.post-5991506035023842722010-11-11T20:33:44.529+00:002010-11-11T20:33:44.529+00:00You might like to know that the EDP had the photos...You might like to know that the EDP had the photos and the story on Monday afternoon. They have chosen not to publish it.
Why? I guess the editor is weak or maybe the proprietor or friends have vested interests. Whatever the case they are obviously in favour of building the third largest town in Norfolk between Sprowston and Wroxham.
10,000 houses is 24,000 residents and that is the same size as Thetford.
Only when you realise this can you appreciate how much employment has to be provided and what the extent of the associated services is going to be. Otherwise and maybe, in any case the the same problems they face in Thetford will be experienced in NE Norwich.

If you want to know whats going on come here.Heraclesnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2973149502277234867.post-46685796616989848352010-11-10T17:26:58.693+00:002010-11-10T17:26:58.693+00:00Has the local press been informed about the meetin...Has the local press been informed about the meeting and the petition.? Lets hope that someone please...Rackheath Villager.

Lets hope that someone please listens to us the people of Rackheath as this is going to have a huge impact on a small rural community. However, I am being practical when I say that come what may Broadland District Council have absolutely no intention of listening to our views and I find this blatent disregard as a Insult and dispicable behaviour by them. Unfortunately I can't but help wondering what is in it for Simon Woodbridge and his cronies....Money I fear its a disgrace.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2973149502277234867.post-36891157172921162922010-11-09T17:33:34.841+00:002010-11-09T17:33:34.841+00:00Surely BDC must start taking notice of the residen...Surely BDC must start taking notice of the residents now? They are already trying to mislead Rackheath residents into thinking the Exemplar is all the housing there is to be. The Eco town has not gone away and neither has the NDR. Despite it losing it's funding, NCC are planning to waste even more of our money competing with 21 other road schemes for a pot of £600m. They have already wasted £10m on it. How much more?Fed up Resident of Broadlandnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2973149502277234867.post-6576852140636900122010-11-08T19:35:38.705+00:002010-11-08T19:35:38.705+00:00Phew! 3,200 signatures.
